December 1st, and 2nd of 1978 seemed to be a good time to wave adios to the “punk scene” in Toronto, however a great time for Indie bands to explore and explode après and amid the settling dust of that crazy cultural chaos.
The two evenings hosted by local Hero/ Impressarios, “The Garys” at the historical country venue, The Horseshoe, was documented by Colin Brunton via “The Last Pogo” documentary.
Now, thirty something eons later; What are all these guys and gals doing now? What are they thinking? Are they still alive? Do they care? Should we care?
Fans, musicians, shopkeepers, writers, comedians, wanna-be musicians, and all the others recall and regale us with their memories, anecdotes, and anything else they can recall thirty something years later via Colin Brunton’s follow-up document:
“The LastPogo Jumps Again: A Biased & Incomplete History of Toronto Punk Rock and New Wave Music Circa September 24 1976 to December 1 1978.”
